What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Project Arcade launched with one mini-game and has grown from there. Early Access made sense because new games and features are too substantial to ship as patches, but do not fit the mold of DLC either.

The plan is to keep expanding the collection until it reaches a point where it can stand on its own as a full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current estimate is roughly a year and a half (late 2027), though that may shift depending on how development progresses and what the community helps shape along the way. The goal is to leave Early Access when the game genuinely feels complete, not just to hit a deadline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main difference will be the number of games. The goal is to build out a solid collection of mini-games, each with its own feel and challenge.

Beyond that, there are a number of features planned for the full release:

  • More languages
  • Steam Deck support
  • Steam Cloud saving
  • Steam Achievements
  • Accessibility options
  • Improved sounds
  • Animations

As with any Early Access game, I would encourage you to buy it based on what it is today, not on what it promises to be.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Project Arcade currently has three playable mini-games: Memory Cards, Memory Lights, and Snake.

Memory Cards has Pairs and Triples modes with 10 levels ranging from straightforward to very difficult.

Memory Lights is a Simon Says-style sequence memory game with 10 levels of increasing difficulty.

Snake is classic Snake with a clean, minimal design.

All three games track your best scores and award trophies for clean runs. More games are planned.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Possibly, yes. If the game grows significantly in content before leaving Early Access, the price may increase to reflect that. Any price changes will be gradual and announced ahead of time.

To be clear about what this is: a collection of mini-games, not a large-scale production. It will always be priced to match that.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is a big part of how this project moves forward. Suggestions for new mini-games, accessibility improvements, language support, or anything else are genuinely welcome and will be taken into account.

The best places to share feedback are the Steam forums and the Steam community hub. I read everything and try to respond where I can. If something comes up repeatedly, it moves up the priority list.”

About This Game

Project Arcade is a collection of simple, focused mini-games for players who want a straightforward challenge. Three games are available now, with more planned.

Memory Cards

The classic card-matching game. Flip cards, find pairs, or take on triples mode for an extra challenge. Ten levels of increasing difficulty, an automatic save system, and a clean interface that stays out of the way.

  • Pairs and triples modes

  • 10 difficulty levels

  • Automatic save system

Memory Lights

Watch the sequence of lights, then repeat it back. Each round adds one more step, and a single mistake sends you back to the start. Sounds simple enough until the sequences start getting long.

  • Simon Says-style gameplay

  • 10 difficulty levels

  • Clean, distraction-free UI

Snake

Classic Snake, nothing added. Navigate, grow, and try not to crash. A clean take on the arcade staple with smooth controls and a minimal design.

  • Classic Snake gameplay

  • Minimal design

  • Easy to pick up anytime

Early Access

Project Arcade is still in development. The three games here are just the start, with more planned. Player feedback will help decide what gets built next.
