About This Game

Beginning.

  • Hello, I’m the narrator/writer/director—and improviser—who will accompany you through this little summary, let’s put it that way… To start things off, you take the role of a simple resident of a small and humble village. What makes you different from the others? Maybe your vitality… (I heard that most of the villagers are old folks 😦)

And where is this village?

  • Well, on a little-explored island—at least for now—apparently called San-San (okay okay, weird name, right?… Complain to whoever named it 😑). Some residents have lived there for a long time, others arrived later, but that’s something you’ll discover by talking to them. I’m not going to stand here telling you everything, man…

And the villagers, what are they like?

  • Well… we’ve got old folks, some regular people who pay their taxes properly, a Blacksmith, a Writer, a Mage (he is awesome!! 🥶), we’ve got some women who actively help keep the island from being the most horrible thing in the world, oh—we’ve got Carlos! And we also have the vendors… wait… where are the vendors? They should be here 🤔… Anyway, there’s a bunch of people you should visit sooner or later to have a little coffee and chat 😁

Okay, you’ve talked a lot—what about the story?

  • Well, it’s simple. One of the oldest villagers, self-proclaimed as the Village Elder (the one who decides a few things here and there, kind of like a mayor), simply disappeared, and it was chaos. Many screamed and panicked (just kidding, only Carlos truly cared…). So Carlos contacts you so you can investigate at first and go after this crazy old man—and boom! You’ll explore some areas of the island, as well as a mysterious mine that almost no one has the courage to enter! Be careful—if you’re in danger and need help… it’s better not to need it! 😅

That’s it?!

Of course not! Read the section below to learn everything you’ll find on San-San Island! (pffff, what a funny name! 😂😂)

Battle

  • Combat is simple: one button to attack, another to slide across the map (who doesn’t love a Dash?), and from there it’s all about beating things up! 💥 Or rather… sword slashing! You shouldn’t enter the Mine without a sword equipped, okay! 🤗

Resources

  • You’ll notice you have Health and Energy to continue your journey… Both can be restored by consuming some of the Consumables available on the island! We have Beetroot and Pumpkin sweets! (Terrible flavor, but excellent for your health!) And of course, when your Health reaches zero you… see the light at the end of the tunnel 💀…
So here’s my tip: whenever you make some progress, run to the nearest Save Point and make sure you don’t lose everything over something silly (I’m serious, I’m warning you 😠).

Customization

  • Now this is where things get interesting! You can create different sword models for different types of ores. Each ore forges a different kind of sword. We have ores that can forge swords of: Fire! Ice! Poison! and—believe it or not—Darkness!
Okay, I admit I got a bit too excited talking about variety, but it’s only these types… 😏

  • For customization, besides swords, we also have Books! 📖 These activate passive effects, such as Healing, Energy Regeneration, blocking Negative Effects, and so on… Oh, and to forge books you also use ores collected in the mine, along with some additional materials…

  • And finally, you can also equip Accessories! Here the diversity is greater! We have accessories to increase maximum Health and Energy, improve your Dash, earn more from monster drops, and much more!

Pajamas???

  • That’s right—you can also wear pajamas during your journey! They have some pretty neat passive effects, to be honest… such as automatically gaining ores, earning gold, potions, and much more! Plus, of course, you’ll look stylish!! 😎😎

Mining, Gambling, and Hidden Things!

  • Yes, on this island you can also mine—and it’s simple! Equip a pickaxe, find an ore, get close, and it’s yours! Easy, right? Oh, of course—you need energy to mine. Don’t think mining won’t drain your energy 🙄

  • What do you mean you don’t know what gambling is? Well, go talk to Jerry 🍀—he’s the king of games! For just 33💲 coins, you can play with him! I’ll warn you right now: he’s a jerk! But if you manage to beat him, the reward is quite generous 💰

  • Of course! What game doesn’t have hidden things? We’ve got plenty in San-San (I can’t help laughing every time I say that name hahaha), but I won’t tell you what they are or where they’re located! It ruins the magic a bit, you know?…

Alright, but I’ve found the old man and explored the island—now what?

  • Well, now you enter the final stretch of the story. You must go talk to the mage (Ogam, for close friends). He’ll tell you about the Ancient Machine that the magic research group was investigating… They discovered that the machine is capable of teleporting beings between dimensions, and from there you’ll experience a sequence of journeys that can change the course of the island’s history!
Anyway, you’d better go quickly—before there’s no salvation for the old man and he’s never seen again… GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY!
