Why Early Access?

“I think player feedback is one of, if not the most important part of making a game. Releasing the game in early access will allow me to get feedback from the players and improve the gameplay, and other features if needed, accordingly.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm estimating the EA period to be roughly 2 years. However, once the Roadmap(see below) is satisfied, and me and the game's community are pleased with the game's state, I'll call it out of EA”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Hammering out bugs, using in-house assets as much as possible, and overall better polish.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable in singleplayer mode. You can choose between 2 weapons in the start of the game, and enemies drop 5 other types so you can pick them up if you can. The Enemy AI will try to eliminate you by chasing you down and using their weapons.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“To thank the supporters, EA version will be cheaper than the full release version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Discord server is currently running, and I am planning to set up a forum-type website to answer questions better, but currently it is not a priority. The links are available in game.”

Like Birds is a singleplayer shooter game, where you are the last man standing in a helicopter crash. Enemies will try to swarm your crash site, and you have to hang on until help arrives. Because of the hostile environment, until a task force is assembled, you are on your own, with limited equipment. Eliminate enemies, pick up various weapons from enemies, and make your shots count!
