Why Early Access?

“Early Access provides a unique opportunity for us to shape and refine our game collaboratively with our community. While the core idea for the game's story is present, the path and depth of the narrative remain fluid. We need both the resources and direct feedback from a wider audience to mold the game into the envisioned product. This isn't just about bug testing but fundamentally about how the story unfolds, what features get highlighted, and where the narrative journey takes our players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our aim is for 'God Within VR' to be in Early Access for three or four months. During this time, we'll focus on enhancing and potentially completing the story mode, while constantly gauging player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As we progress in our journey, we plan to expand upon the experiences offered in the current iteration. While players can currently engage with a preview of the story and arena modes, we hope to delve deeper into the narrative and potentially introduce more dynamic gameplay elements or new modes based on community feedback. It's about enhancing the gameplay experience and offering a world that is richer in character interactions and VR combat scenarios.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is in its nascent stage. It provides players with a segment of the story mode and an arena mode with multiple maps, weapons and enemies, laying down the foundation for the gameplay mechanics and narrative style.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we intend to adjust the price upwards as more content, particularly the story mode, is added to the game. We believe that the enriched content and enhanced gameplay experience will justify the price increase. However, specific pricing details will depend on various factors and will not be tied to any specific currency.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community involvement is at the heart of our development strategy. We believe that the best games are those shaped by their players. We'll be actively seeking feedback via community forums, surveys, and direct communication channels. This feedback will play a pivotal role in feature prioritization, story direction, and gameplay enhancements. We also plan to host periodic virtual meet-ups, AMAs (Ask Me Anything sessions), and discussion threads to ensure that we are on the same page as our players and moving in a direction that excites and satisfies them.”

About This Game

God Within VR is a Soulslike VR action game focused on reading enemy moves and true-to-motion melee. Wield your family blade and step into the ruined land of Viseran; every swing, block, and parry is driven by your real actions. Each time you fall, the nearest Anchor pulls you back—at a cost—so you can press on.

True VR combat: directional blocking/parries and a stagger → stun → execution loop that rewards timing and rhythm
Multi-phase bosses: forms and moves evolve across phases—every fight is a life-or-death trial
