You are a member of the exploration organization Hermes sent inside the threatened city of Pantheon.

You need to visit different locations in the city to complete the assigned missions and ensure your safe escape.

Gather weapons and items while collaborating with your teammates to confront the unknown threat.

※ Sci-Fi Horror

In "Synapse: Lockdown," players confront the artificial intelligence that has seized control of the facility.

The AI unit is made of steel. It is resistant to the majority of weapons, and it continuously watches and tracks the players’ actions throughout the facility.

It is only a sense of powerlessness and fear of death that remains with the players.

※ An Ever-Evolving Seeker: Minerva

In "Synapse: Lockdown", the AI Minerva does not simply adhere to predetermined routines.

It actively responds to the player's actions. 

Minerva remembers your actions. If you repeatedly apply the same tactics or choose the easier paths, Minerva will eventually begin to employ varied patterns to counteract this.

You'll need to employ a variety of tactics against a changing enemy, and work together to survive.

※ Exploration and Strategy

Inside the facility, players can acquire tools or weapons with various functions.

The tools gather data like the location and status of robots to protect you from potential threats.

These tools can also generate noise or obstruct vision to affect the enemy's behavior patterns and defend against attacks.

Players are continually challenged to utilize these tools effectively and appropriately, depending on the type of enemies they face.

※ The synergy between fear and cooperation

There's only so much players can do on their own.

Certain missions necessitate ongoing cooperative play, including sharing information from different locations during exploration, as well as synchronization efforts.

Players will encounter many missions that require constant co-op play.

Convey information quickly and accurately to collaborate effectively under time pressure and in the face of ongoing threats from the enemy.

※ Unveil the truth

The exploration of every section in the city of Pantheon establishes unique phases in "Synapse: Lockdown".

As you progress through each stage, you’ll encounter new enemies, missions, gimmicks, events, stories, and more.

Enemies will possess distinct shapes, behaviors, and weaknesses tailored to various thematic settings, including laboratories, hospitals, and educational institutions in the city.

The missions players undertake will change accordingly.

As stages are gradually unlocked, players will discover the truth about the AI Minerva.
