Why Early Access?

“This is a project created by a small team, and whilst we've play-tested it a ton, there's a limit to what we can manage! Getting it out there will allow us to get plenty of feedback, watch people play, and directly play against community members to get feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect a minimum of 6 months in order to allow our response to community feedback and the creation of enough new game content to warrant a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more core mechanics and several more levels.

The VR player has only a single way to 'disrupt' the Screen Player. Plans here involve airlocks, energy barriers and sending patrols to block pathways.

The Screen Player has no way to change which ship they're flying. The plan is to allow them to use a 'holo-cloak' to change their ship, but we decided against creating and balancing multiple flight models before our first release.

We have direct plans around more levels and features, but we expect this list to grow after feedback from the community. And probably more from the next time we rewatch The Expanse.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There is a single, complete, polished level with a single flyable ship. The single level has many ways to complete it, so should offer lots of replayability. There are limited core mechanics currently.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to release at a low price and increase that as more polish and content is added. Get in early for the best value!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“ProjectorGames has built up quite a community over the last decade and a half, and we have an active streaming and Discord community. We often play directly with members of the community and have dropped in on streams to interact with people and solicit feedback directly.
