„Bringing a title from the mobile game space onto PC is never easy, as the former has a lot more restrictions. We'd like to explore how the game is perceived from the user-perspective in order to craft true cross-platform experiences that can be enjoyed whatever the input device.“

Přibližně jak dlouho bude tato hra v předběžném přístupu?

„We anticipate the Early Access phase to last 2-3 months, depending on quantity and quality of feedback as well as insights gained by game behavioral analytics. The time might extend if deem the user experience not sufficiently pleasant when it comes to control sets (e.g. inventory management) or game design such as pacing through content.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„As some of the earliest additions we're planning are controller support and an incrementally more social experience with guilds, chat, leaderboards, and we strive to to provide a seamless game save between PC and mobile platforms. We would like to achieve this in a privacy-friendly way, without the need of a dedicated sign-up or registration with a social network.“

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„The game version is very much in sync with the mobile version. Steam users will have access to the same live ops seasonal events, the same game content additions, and benefit from live experience in running the handheld edition.

To give an estimate of the amount of content playable, some players already crossed the 100 hour mark within the month of launching on mobile devices, with the majority being around 10 hours time spent in the game. Keep in mind these are statistics from mobile players with typically lower time spent per single session.

That being said, we encourage you to check out the 'About the Game' section of Daisho: Survival of a Samurai, which highlights all the content currently in the game.“

„Daisho: Survival of a Samurai will always be Free-to-Play, supported by ingame microtransactions that allow to progress faster - but never beyond what is obtainable by regular play.“

„We're counting on the Steam Early Access community in having their say on game experience as a whole. Playing on PC is tremendously different to mobile when it comes to input and movement fidelity, in length of playtime of a gaming session - and thus impacting how the game economy is designed -, but also how the quicker movement possibility with lower input latency affects the fun and challenge part of our game.
