This guiding principle ensures that every game mechanic and design decision prioritizes competitive integrity while incorporating realism in a way that enhances, rather than hinders, gameplay. This approach sets Method of Entry apart, drawing inspiration from classic titles like the original SWAT and Rainbow Six series, Counter-Strike, and modern hits such as Escape from Tarkov and R6 Siege.

Method of Entry promises a sophisticated blend of core mechanics and immersive realism, designed to meet the demands of dedicated players while creating a compelling and believable combat environment. Our goal is to set a new standard in competitive shooters by delivering a game that balances precision, strategy, and authenticity. We eschew flashy hero abilities, arcade-like killstreaks, and unrealistic environments in favor of a more grounded and tactical approach. Our focus is on delivering a genuine tactical shooter that values precision and strategy.



To promote a more tactical and strategic environment, we have deliberately avoided common pitfalls such as the "bunny hop" meta that has plagued other shooters. By removing the ability to jump, we eliminate exploitative movement tactics and focus on delivering a combat experience that prioritizes precision, strategy, and realism. This decision is aimed at fostering a more deliberate and immersive gameplay experience where every action is calculated and significant.

Our approach also includes integrating an intuitive and impactful gunsmith mechanics that allow players to customize their loadouts in a way that aligns with their personal playstyle and tactical preferences. These mechanics are designed to enhance both comfort and utility, ensuring that each choice has a meaningful impact on gameplay.

While the initial vision for the game originated with us, we recognize that the game ultimately belongs to the players. We strongly believe that we are cut from the same cloth as the player base. Our entire dev team are gamers first, and we try to make every decision based on that experience. We also want to assure players that while we do intend to monetize the game through skins, camos, and other cosmetic options to help support the project, that no part of the core game experience will be locked behind a pay wall. Ever. We are a small dev team and while this does hinder us in some ways, it also keeps us free from outside influence that values money over the experience of our community.
