About Ghost Hunter

As the spirit realm invades and demons run rampant, the mortal world is plunged into chaos, with innocent people suffering constant torment. The Exorcism Bureau gathers Taoist masters endowed with extraordinary powers, united in their mission to protect the human realm. They monitor the tides of the spirit realm and movements of the nether ruins, suppressing rebellious demons and monsters.

You shall answer the call of the Exorcism Bureau, wielding talismans and commanding magical artifacts as you venture into treacherous and mysterious lands. Tasked with subduing evil and purifying cursed grounds, you will rely on your Taoist mastery to repel the erosion of the spirit realm and safeguard the peace of the mortal world.

Taoist Masters Assemble: Banish Demons and Evil Spirits

The game lets you switch between first-person and third-person views. Five players team up in PVE co-op mode. Taoist masters from all over gather with the mission to banish evil and protect the land. Together, they head to places overrun by evil spirits.

Each master brings their own unique skills, using special powers and magical tools as weapons. They support each other in dangerous situations and fight side by side. Working together, they complete various exorcism missions and face deadly challenges from fierce ghost kings. United, they fight against the spirit realm invasion, protecting the mortal world and bringing peace to everyone.

Choose from several unique Taoist master characters, each with their own special abilities—some can call on gods like Lord Guan or Master Lü for help in battle; others can cast spells in mid-air to kill demons, sending flying swords to break through evil forces. They also carry exclusive magical weapons like the Green Dragon Blade, Peach Wood Sword, Yin-Yang Umbrella, and Willow Leaf Whip, each with different gameplay styles. Pick your master based on how you like to play, pair them with talismans and magical tools, and build your own personal exorcism style.

Capturing and Nurturing Evil: Fight Evil with Evil

"Capturing and nurturing evil" is the game's core feature, fitting perfectly with the folklore theme and showcasing the mystical power of Taoist arts. In battle, Taoist masters can use soul urns to capture weakened evil spirits. After a series of training and upgrades, these spirits become a powerful force to help banish other evils.

Each evil spirit has its own unique support skills and power level—from low-tier minions to high-tier boss spirits, all can be captured and nurtured. By smartly combining your Taoist powers with talismans and artifacts, you can make the most of each spirit's strengths while covering your own weaknesses. There are dozens of folk items, magical tools, Taoist formations, and pills to use—lots of choices and different ways to play. They bring both the ritual feeling and strategic depth of Chinese-style exorcism. Use Paralyzing Talismans to freeze enemies, Willow Leaves to reveal hidden spirits, Corpse-Suppressing Nails to stop evil, Golden Blade Talismans to break curses, Fire Curse to burn evil away, and Rejuvenation Talismans to heal. There are also folk items like Boy's Urine and Black Dog Blood, plus classic tools such as Ink Lines, Bagua Mirrors, Demon-Reflecting Mirrors, and Sanqing Bells. And don't forget special items like the Thunderous Formation, Pojun Pills, Little Ghost Palanquin, and Newspaper Flying Device—all here to help you vanquish demons and get through tough spots.

Exploration in Eerie Realms: Unbound Travel

Explore a variety of hauntingly atmospheric folkloric scenes. The large map allows for free-roaming travel, with random starting points and no fixed routes—every expedition is full of unknowns. Ghosts appear randomly, ghost kings descend unpredictably, supply points refresh in different spots, and folk event tasks pop up unexpectedly. There are also random item altars and blessing statues to replenish and boost your abilities. Players can truly soak in the eerie vibe of each scene and enjoy the thrill of exploring the unknown.

Secrets and Strange Tales: Track Evil and Eliminate Spirits

The game features plenty of main and side quests, all centered around exorcising evil and banishing spirits. These missions are deeply rooted in Chinese folk traditions, unlocking various strange tales and hidden stories. Side quests include unique folk activities like transporting corpses from a funeral home, ghost weddings, liberating restless souls, purifying yin energy, and using coffin nails to suppress spirits. Players can take on these tasks while experiencing the eerie charm and mystery of Chinese folklore.

Treasure Hunting and Gathering: Collect and Mine

While exploring, smash jars, open chests, gather spirit plants, mine spiritual ores, dig up treasures, and search various containers for items. You can obtain all kinds of materials, equipment, tools, and rare antiques. These resources can be used to upgrade your Taoist powers and magical tools, craft powerful artifacts, the protective eight trigrams, and formation pills. You can also sell them at the trading firm for money to buy what you need and build your own combat setup.

Banish Demons and Purify Evil Lands

All kinds of evil creatures roam the mortal world's eerie domains, each with its own traits, showcasing the mystery and danger of Chinese folklore. From low-tier ghost slaves, yin soldiers, and evil ghosts to high-tier fierce ghosts and ghost kings, every level has different powers and features—covering demons, devils, ghosts, goblins, spirits, and corpses. The Ghost Bride Queen's secrecy, General Jiang Corpse King's brutality, the creepy Paper Boy and Paper Girl, and the vicious Old Lady with a Cat Face—dozens of unique evils each have their own moves. It's up to the Taoist masters to wield talismans and artifacts, destroy all evil, and purify the dark forces.
