An entire renovation crew died in a fire within the walls of an abandoned castle. The case was closed. Their families never accepted the explanation.

Now they’ve hired you to find out what happened.

Explore the castle, uncover evidence, and reconstruct the crew’s final days. Every discovery gives you another piece of the case. But something is wrong within these walls—and the longer you stay, the harder it becomes to trust what you find.

Abandoned Hearts is a single-player psychological horror game combining investigation, environmental puzzles, and survival. The evidence is yours to interpret. The danger is yours to survive.

Search the castle’s rooms, uncover documents left behind by the renovation crew, and solve environmental puzzles to piece together what happened.

Physically connect your discoveries on an evidence board and build your own explanation. Different clues offer different perspectives, what you believe depends on what you discover—and how you connect it.

You are not alone in Blackthorne Castle.

Something lingers in the darkness, moving just beyond the edge of your light. 

Hide, flee, and use distractions to evade the threats roaming its halls. Manage your batteries carefully to keep the darkness at bay, and ration your medical supplies for the dangers ahead.

The deeper your investigation goes, the less reliable your senses become.

Unsettling discoveries blur the line between reality and hallucination. Strange encounters, shifting environments, and moments of intense terror challenge not only your survival, but your ability to trust what you see.

The families need an explanation. How certain will you be of yours?

Act One features roughly 2-4 hours of gameplay dependent on each individual player. While the mysteries uncovered here continue beyond this chapter, Act 1 delivers a complete investigative experience and lays the foundation for future installments. Any additional acts will be released as separate DLC.
