In a strange dystopian pocket-universe situated around a stable trans-dimensional rip called the Hyperseam, you play as an artificial consciousness uploaded into a disposable VatBorn™, a bleeding-edge memetic plasmid technology, and are forced to work as customer service representative for a mega-corporation bank called Multiverse Mutual.



The plot in BANKWAVE touches on themes of class, social status, agency, sentience, and others commonly found in political satire and dystopian fiction. Retro-futuristic elements like Cyberpunk and Synthwave are featured throughout the game's visuals and audio.
