Why Early Access?

“When releasing a game in Early Access we can receive constant feedback from the player community and make adjustments and improvements based on that feedback. This allows for a development process closer to those ideas of the community, in which the game gradually evolves until it reaches its final version. Developers can add additional content, polish game mechanics and make adjustments based on the preferences, tastes and needs of the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“PRELUDE DARK PAIN will be less than a year in early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As far as quality is concerned, we hope that the early access version will be a fairly close reflection of what we intend to achieve with the final version of the game. Early access will provide an improvement in content and polish that will bring more stability to the final title and include some suggestions from the community. The early access version of PRELUDE DARK PAIN will have the first two acts of what we hope will be six that make up the complete game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of today, PRELUDE DARK PAIN is a complete and 100% playable game, and includes all the mechanics described on its Steam page. The first two acts of the game are included out of a total of six that we hope will make up the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“QUICKFIRE GAMES will release Prelude Dark Pain with a price reduction for the community to support the launch of the game. After early access the official price of Prelude Dark Pain will remain at a reduced price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“From QUICKFIREGAMES we want to invite all players to get involved in the development of the game, as any idea or support will be welcome. We want to create games that really make our players enjoy and therefore we want to have a healthy community around them. To improve and encourage the community we want to introduce side stories that they will vote themselves in the QUICKFIREGAMES forums and introduce new characters and heroes of the community's choice. We are open to improve the game according to the ideas that the community has around PRELUDE DARK PAIN.”
