What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I chose Early Access because I want to make the game better. And I believe that community feedback is an extremely effective tool for releasing an episodic game like this. The community can help with many things, such as: game balance, finding bugs faster, and most importantly, by combining the community's ideas with my vision for the game, I hope to create a truly exciting adventure.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to be in Early Access until Episode 7 comes out, which I hope to release in a year or two. But my goal is to release the full version as soon as possible. It depends on the reaction of the players and how I feel about it myself.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Dualis follows an episodic release schedule. In the Early Access version, i plan for players to have access to new episodes as they are completed. With the release of each episode i intend for new enemies with unique abilities, new weapons, gameplay mechanics, and new character abilities to be added to the game. Once Episode 7 (the final episode) is ready for release, i plan for the game to come out of Early Access. Along with this, I'm constantly working on optimization and making changes and improvements to the gameplay.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Episodes 1 are fully playable. There is a story to uncover, a stealth system, shooting and melee system, deadly enemies, looting system, and more.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually increase the price of the game as new episodes are released. The fewer episodes available, the lower the price of the game. It is important to me that those who purchased the game in early access get all future updates for free. In the early access version, players may encounter bugs and may not get the full version of the game, but nevertheless, they have supported this project. This is my thanks to everyone who believed in this game”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I try to involve the community in the development process through various channels, including Discord, Twitter, and the Steam forums, and often use their feedback to improve the game. Everyone is welcome to join in and voice their opinions. In the end, the most important thing is that players enjoy the game!”

In Dualis, enemies are a deadly threat, especially when there are many of them, and each player will face a difficult choice in how to confront them.
