Miksi Early Access?

We're launching our RPG into Early Access on Steam to invite player feedback for fine-tuning our innovative features. This game introduces several unique features that, while carefully crafted, could benefit from real-world user testing to achieve fine-tuning and balance. This hands-on feedback will not only assist in rectifying any unforeseen issues but also help us understand if our creative direction aligns with player expectations and enjoyment. This is an essential part of our development process to create an engaging and enjoyable RPG.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We plan to have the game in early access until we are satisfied with our 1.0 product and the amount of features available to our players. Roughly 6-12 months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version of the game will include more NPCs to interact with, more creatures to fight, extra biomes to explore, and there may be adjustments to farm cleansing mechanics and combat abilities.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

In the Early Access release of our game, we will have implemented core mechanics that include farm cleanse, shapeshifting, and combat. We also offer an online co-op multiplayer mode, enabling players to interact and work together. Important NPCs and factions are in place to enrich the game's narrative. Additionally, we have integrated crafting and gathering systems, allowing players to create and collect various items within the game. This version provides a solid foundation on which we intend to refine, and expand based on player feedback.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We are planning to have a reduced price in early access and the final game will be at a higher price to reflect the increased quality and increased playtime offered in the final product compared to the EA.

Eydigard is an RPG rooted in Norwegian folk tales, set in the fjords of Northern Norway during the tumultuous early 16th century. A devastating plague has ravaged the land, leaving once-thriving farms abandoned and haunted, and allowing mythical creatures to claim the land.

As a mysterious mercenary shapeshifter, you'll navigate treacherous political waters and battle folkloric creatures to restore balance to this fractured fjord. With the power to transform into various animals, each with unique abilities, you'll carve your own path through this haunted fjord.

Immersive Open World: Explore forgotten farms, enormous mountain halls, and bustling markets. Trade with merchants, wanderers, and even mythical creatures as you explore the rugged beauty of the fjord



Shapeshifting Mastery: Transform into various animals, each offering distinct skills for combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. Sneak past enemies as a cunning lynx or overpower foes as a mighty bear - your chosen form shapes your strategy.



Norwegian Folklore: Encounter and interact with creatures from Norwegian and Sami folk tales, including trolls, hulders, and vettirs.




Dynamic Political Landscape: The fjord is home to rival clans, each with their own culture, ambitions, and secrets. Navigate the complex relations as your choices influence the balance of power and the fate of the region.

Plague Cleansing: Players are tasked with cleansing and restoring farmsteads affected by a devastating plague. Each farm offers distinct challenges and rewards. How you handle the plague's impact can affect your standing with the clans, the game's economy, and the overall state of Eydigard.



Cooperative Gameplay: While Eydigard offers a rich solo experience, team up with friends for cooperative gameplay. Combine your shapeshifting abilities to tackle challenges, engage in combat, and unravel the mysteries of the plague-ridden land together.
