Eydigard is a third-person co-op action RPG where players shapeshift into animals to fight, explore, and reclaim cursed farms in plague-ridden 1500s Norway. Inspired by Norwegian and Sámi folktales, it blends historical fantasy with challenging boss fights and a grounded, story-rich world.

“We're launching our RPG into Early Access on Steam to invite player feedback for fine-tuning our innovative features. This game introduces several unique features that, while carefully crafted, could benefit from real-world user testing to achieve fine-tuning and balance. This hands-on feedback will not only assist in rectifying any unforeseen issues but also help us understand if our creative direction aligns with player expectations and enjoyment. This is an essential part of our development process to create an engaging and enjoyable RPG.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We plan to have the game in early access until we are satisfied with our 1.0 product and the amount of features available to our players. Roughly 6-12 months.”

“The full version of the game will include more NPCs to interact with, more creatures to fight, extra biomes to explore, and there may be adjustments to farm cleansing mechanics and combat abilities.”

“In the Early Access release of our game, we will have implemented core mechanics that include farm cleanse, shapeshifting, and combat. We also offer an online co-op multiplayer mode, enabling players to interact and work together. Important NPCs and factions are in place to enrich the game's narrative. Additionally, we have integrated crafting and gathering systems, allowing players to create and collect various items within the game. This version provides a solid foundation on which we intend to refine, and expand based on player feedback.”

“We are planning to have a reduced price in early access and the final game will be at a higher price to reflect the increased quality and increased playtime offered in the final product compared to the EA.”

Eydigard is a folklore-inspired RPG set in the mystical fjords of Northern Norway during the turbulent early 16th century. A relentless plague has turned prosperous farmlands into abandoned ruins, while mythical creatures now roam the surrounding wilderness.

As a mercenary gifted with shapeshifting abilities, you'll battle legendary beasts, reclaim and upgrade abandoned farms as your bases, and navigate the tense politics between rival clans competing for power. Each animal form offers unique strengths, shaping your strategy and approach to every encounter.

Your decisions shape relationships, influence clan dynamics, and leave lasting marks on the communities around you.
