Miksi Early Access?

We want The Night Shift to be a great horror experience, and for that to happen, we believe releasing the game in Early Access allows us to receive feedback from the community and act on it so the full game is an amazing experience.

The Night Shift will be in Early Access until the experience is one that players are happy with.

As development progress, the aim is to polish and expand on current features that can be experienced. With a focus on actioning any feedback from the community.

We plan to update The Night Shift to include:
- An entire store to explore and discover new secrets.
- Expanding the store with new and eerie environments.
- New task variations and new items to interact with.
- Steam Cloud saving.
- A level branching system.
- Item and enemy randomization.
- New horrifying variations of Mannequins.

The current state of the Early Access build has the following features implemented:

- The first level.
- A branching narrative system.
- An inventory and inspection system.
- Various unique tasks to complete.
- Steam achievements.
- Various mannequin behaviors.
- Customizable options (video, audio, and controls).

The price will not change when The Night Shift leaves early access.

We will be taking on feedback regularly, through various channels: our Discord server, Steam forums, and our email. We will be monitoring these regularly during the Early Access stage looking at what the community likes/dislikes to help shape the final release of The Night Shift.
