Why Early Access?

“Primia Legends is an Indie Dev studio that aspires to have games that fulfill into the childhood (and adult hood) dream to play as animals! Unfortunately, being a small development team, achieving those dreams will take a while! We do not plan for our game to be FULLY complete until a couple years from its release date. Putting all of our love, energy, and time into this project, is going to make it take a while to fully flesh out. We have big dreams for this game to be the best animal survival game that has ever been seen! Upon release, we will have only a couple playable animals. By the time we are no longer in Early Access, we will have a HUGE roster of over 20 playables! Bigger map, more animals, better optimization, new content and greater experiences!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is planned to leave early access once the playable animals and biomes of the map is fully completed. It will take about roughly three years to complete this task. Once the game meets our standards we will exit early access and fully release the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There are plenty of features planned to be added in the coming months. These include new animal additions and new biomes of Africa to explore

Overall, new mechanics and enhancements to current gameplay will drastically change with every update. This will offer a new approach to playing Primal Earth and will be a fresh experience with more ways to survive and compete as an animal. Primal Earth will be a challenging survival game where you compete against other players for the right rule the lands and with the new additions and areas to explore the difficulty of surviving will intensify . After post-release of the game we will continue to add bonus animals and content to keep players interested.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version has five playable animals, customizable settings, changeable keybinds, half of the map available, as well as skin customization that has been implemented, but will be further expanded on later down the line! These features will continually be updated as we go and new content will constantly be released! There will be simple survival gameplay such as eating, drinking, sleeping, body dragging, pack/herd systems, and fighting! Defend your herd against vicious predators or, BE the vicious predator!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As more updates and content are introduced, The pricing of the game may vary. There is a LOT of time, money and love going into this game so we hope that you all understand!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“A lot of our features will be tested by the community as well as have a lot of community input! We have contests and competitions for skins, map ideas, animation ideas, and art pieces so that the community feels like they are included! We have special rewards for early supporters and supporters in general! All support is greatly appreciated, and we take pride in letting our community know that. We also plan to have DLCS that are connected to animal or environment saving foundations so that our members can donate to a good cause and see the changes in game! Animal and environment awareness is one of our top priorities in this game, so we will have community involvement for every aspect of the game. We want our players to be educated in the wildlife and have a voice in the changes of this game!”
