Why Early Access?

“In Early Access, we'll expand Terracards with more plants, animals, and structures. We'll actively seek player feedback through our communities to improve the game by adding ideas given by players. Our goal is a full and diverse game that can be played for at least 500 turns without getting boring, after about 3 months in Early Access, depending on player feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About three months. We're planning on releasing the full game on Q2 2024”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More plants, structures, animals, and essences. You'll be able to get into the late-game through even more alternative paths.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Terracards in its current Early Access state offers a fully playable game, most planned core features have been implemented. You can already play a run to beginning to end interacting with the tax system, hand, deck, selling, buying new islands, essences that are game changing buffs to your whole farm, fully working production system, 80+ playable cards that will influence your farm in unique ways by producing and/or consuming items and/or resources, and a menu where you can check every card in the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Nope”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively involve our community in the development of Terracards. Players' feedback, ideas, and suggestions will be really important for shaping the game's direction. We'll engage with players through Discord, where we'll share updates and collect feedback to incorporate into game improvements.”
