“As a small indie studio, we want to get Space Ball into the hands of players as soon as possible during development in order to gather community feedback to improve the experience. This will allow us to focus our efforts on specific areas of the game the community feels would benefit from further development.

As a multiplayer-focused game, it’s critical that we ensure features are balanced and Early Access on Steam is ideally suited to that task. This gives us time to finesse the gameplay experience whilst exploring new ideas like gameplay modes or customization options, creating the best VR sports game possible.”

“The game plans to be in early access for no more than six months.”

“We plan to add a lot more content to the game. This includes more single-player and multiplayer modes, stadiums, and customization features (hats & heads) alongside content that community feedback suggests. This could mean content for the final release may change depending on player suggestions.

We are going to finely balance the game, ensuring it is bug-free and optimized for lower-spec systems, incorporating more visual and sound effects polished to a high standard.”

Bagaimanakah keadaan semasa versi Akses Awal?

“The current build has all core gameplay mechanics in place, with the game playable solo using bots or with up to 6-players online. A profile system ensures a competitive edge with stats that players can easily keep track of, offering plenty of replayability. As is the case with in-development Early Access titles, bugs, balance tweaks and performance fluctuation should be expected.

Soccer, Basketball and Handball sports modes
1vs1, 2vs2 and 3vs3 team selections
AI Bots to fill vacant spaces (Easy/Medium/Hard difficulties)
3 stadiums (with changeable colours)
Profile system showing a player’s stats (win/loss/calories burnt)
Multiple hats and animal characters options to select from
Private or Open match selections with a custom room code system
Selectable match times (1/3/5/7 & 50 mins)
Physical locomotion system
