Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“(Updated 2025/6/24, v0.4.3)
The currently planned content will take about another six months to complete. After that, I'll need some additional time to prepare for the release, and then we'll reach version 1.0! However, if there are suggestions from other players or new ideas I'd like to include in the game, the timeline may be adjusted accordingly.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Emberward will feature more maps, towers, and Roguelite elements. Besides that, I'm planning to add different modes and quality of life improvements based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

• All 4 regions for Roguelite Mode have been released, featuring 3 difficulty levels and an "Infernal Shard" system for added challenges.
  
• 45 towers, 78 relics, and a variety of runes, enhancements, and block cards.
  
• 7 unlockable characters and 5 flame types to choose from.
  
• A test map for Endless Mode is currently available: Misty Graveyard.
