„Being a smaller team with few resources, releasing our game to Early Access will allow us to build a community and reach a wider audience as we develop. Having a community to give feedback on our game will help us steer development in the right direction and provide the best product we can give. We aren't sure when the game will reach a state that we will consider to be "finished", but we know that people will still be able to play and enjoy Semicolon Island despite that.”

„We want to make sure the game is fully polished and ready before we consider ourselves to be out of early access. We are hoping to fully release by September 2024, but that's ONLY if we feel that the product is ready. We aren't too concerned with release dates, though, as we will be constantly releasing updates throughout the Early Access period.”

„Alongside the core and sandbox gamemodes, we plan for the full release of Semicolon Island to have several different gamemodes, including ones with more focus on PvP. The final game will also come with more advanced modding tools, possibly moving away from using our game engine's editor completely and integrating everything into the game itself.”
