Miksi Early Access?

Early Access allows us to develop Tyr in partnership with our community. We believe that player feedback is essential to creating the best possible experience, and Early Access gives us the opportunity to iterate on core gameplay mechanics, balance, and content based on real player experiences.

Our core gameplay loop is already fun and engaging, but we want to ensure that every system feels polished and meaningful before our full launch. By releasing into Early Access, we can gather valuable feedback, identify the areas that need the most attention, and polish the parts that matter the most.

We anticipate being in Early Access for about 12 months before moving to full release. However, we're committed to taking the time necessary to deliver a polished, complete experience rather than rushing to meet an arbitrary deadline, so we’ll adapt and communicate changes as we gather feedback.

The core gameplay experience you'll find in Early Access represents what the final game will be, but with significantly more content, polish, and refinement based on community feedback. We’ll be adding more tanks, more maps, and game systems to continue evolving the gameplay.

The current Early Access build is stable and fully playable, offering 12 unlockable tanks and 5 maps.

While the game is enjoyable in its current state, players should expect ongoing balancing changes, occasional bugs that we'll fix promptly, and missing features that are planned for future updates. We recommend Early Access for players who enjoy being part of the development process and don't mind experiencing a game that's actively evolving.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

No, we plan to continue being free to play with optional cosmetics available for purchase. All gameplay content is, and will remain, unlockable without paying.

We will offer a Founder's Pack once we enter Early Access meant to give our earliest supporters extremely good value for being with us from the start. You can expect the price of the content in that upcoming pack to be higher in the future.

We love talking to players and getting feedback because it truly helps us make the most interesting game possible. We’ve been aggressively playtesting the game with external playtesters as early as 5 months into development, and we want to maintain a close relationship with players as we move forward.

You can expect active engagement with players on our Discord server and seeing community suggestions making their mark on the game as we develop.
