Why Early Access?

“We’re a small independent team, and we want to grow GRAVHOUNDS alongside the people playing it.

We’ve already been running regular playtests and using player feedback to improve the game. Early Access lets us continue that process with a much larger community, giving us time to listen, learn, and respond as we expand and refine the experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect GRAVHOUNDS to be in Early Access for roughly six months, potentially longer. We want to give ourselves enough time to respond to player feedback and make sure the game is ready before we call it 1.0.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access release will include the core GRAVHOUNDS experience, but we plan to expand its breadth, depth, and replayability on the road to 1.0.

We plan to add more Gravhounds, jobs, worlds, enemies, weapons, upgrades, and progression, while continuing to improve balance, performance, and the overall experience based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“GRAVHOUNDS is already fully playable solo or in co-op with up to four players. The core game loop is in place: take on jobs, explore hostile worlds, gather resources, build and defend your infrastructure, fight off enemies, and make it back alive.

We’ve already put the game through multiple rounds of external playtesting and used that feedback to improve the experience. During Early Access, we’ll continue expanding and refining the game.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect the price to increase as GRAVHOUNDS grows during Early Access and approaches its full 1.0 release. Any price changes will be announced in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback has already had a meaningful impact on GRAVHOUNDS, and we plan to keep that conversation going throughout Early Access.

We’ll be listening through our Discord, Steam Community discussions, playtests, and surveys. That feedback will help us find problems, improve balance, and decide where our development time can have the biggest impact.
