Presently, within Early Access, the focus lies on solo skirmishes against AI, showcasing conflict between the USA and Germany. However, this marks merely the initial phase of development! Anticipate consistent game enhancements as I continue to enrich the experience with regular updates. Stay tuned and take part in this exciting journey!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At its current Early Access stage, Terrors of War stands at alpha level. Presently, the game boasts a single-player skirmish mode, inviting players into riveting 1v1 battles against cunning AI adversaries. Within this alpha phase, a selection of four crafted maps awaits your strategic maneuvers.

Terrors of War delivers a rewarding resource system reminiscent of classic RTS titles. Dedicated supply vehicles gather resources from caches and deliver them to depots, laying the foundation for your economic might. Capture strategic points—businesses, farms, oil rigs, or secret labs—and salvage wreckage to fuel your campaign. Every choice strengthens your grip on the battlefield.

  • Strategic Mastery: Craft unique AI opponents (available now—join our Discord to try it!), outsmart adaptive enemies, master hotkeys for unit selection, queuing, and formations, and reward skillful play with veterancy perks.

  • Experimental Arsenal: Wield experimental laser weapons (high damage, slow recharge), cloning vats, super soldiers (tough, fast, melee bruisers), radio-controlled drones, sonic wave emitters, bio/chemical weapons, and gravity mines. Unlock tech like enhanced projectiles, prototype armor, or cloning accelerators.

  • Diverse Factions: Expect more factions with unique tech trees and bold identities, from brute-force prototypes to advanced technology, each enriched by distinct playstyles and campaigns.

  • Economy & Immersion: Capture strategic points and salvage resources, with supply vehicles tying your economy together. Every unit boasts unique voice lines, blending WW2 grit with experimental flair. Call in airstrikes, saboteurs, V2 strikes, or bio-weapon bombs to turn the tide.
