What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The core gameplay is already playable, but its content and long-term progression are still being developed. Early Access will allow me to gather player feedback on combat, equipment, progression pacing, and usability while expanding the game. I want that feedback to help shape new mechanics and progression systems before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“My current target is to leave Early Access in January 2027. This is an estimate, and the timeline may change depending on development progress, testing, and player feedback. I will update this information as the scope and release timing become clearer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to offer more than just one location, additional gameplay mechanics, and deeper long-term progression. I am currently planning prestige and ascension systems, alongside further balancing and interface improvements. The scope and details of these additions may evolve during Early Access based on testing and player feedback. I am also considering multiplayer content for a later stage of development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build includes one playable location, combat, equipment progression, achievements, quests, and a tutorial. These provide the foundation of the game, but the available content is still limited. Additional locations and mechanics are in development, while prestige and ascension are planned and are not yet available.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“CyberIdle will be free to play during Early Access and will change to paid after the full release. I am exploring additional pet and cosmetic purchases as a way to support development for later builds. But players will be able to earn such content for free if they dedicate enough. The details of these systems are still being decided.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players will be able to share suggestions, report bugs, and discuss the game through my Discord server and the Steam community forums. I plan to use this feedback to help guide balancing, usability improvements, and priorities for new content.

A development blog will share progress and explain significant changes, while a wiki will document the game’s mechanics as they evolve. Both are currently being set up on my website and are planned to become publicly available after the Early Access launch.”

About This Game

CyberIdle is a pixel-art idle RPG where a handful of coins becomes your first upgrade, your first equipment set and your next boss hunt.

Follow the overgrown routes of the Green Zone, where wildlife and mutated creatures roam among abandoned park benches and fences. Your character runs, collects coins and fights automatically. You decide what to buy, which equipment to wear and what to craft next.

Start small and build at your own pace. Buy affordable starter gear, unlock a steady coin income and improve the rewards from your journey. As new encounters introduce materials and blueprints, turn your collected loot into more specialized equipment.

  • Shape your build. Mix and match armor, weapons and accessories across 11 equipment slots. Improve damage, critical hits, movement speed, coin income and more.

  • Hunt for blueprints. Defeat the Thicket brute and Parkwarden for random equipment blueprints. Return for more encounters to complete your collection.

  • Craft and enhance. Spend materials on new equipment or strengthen your favorite pieces. Equip a complete jewelry set to gain its shared bonus.

  • Prepare a boss hunt. Gather ingredients, craft a Parkwarden lure and use it to summon your next encounter.

  • Take an active role. Unlock Active Slaying and tap the attack button to speed up combat, or let your character fight automatically.

  • Follow your progress. Complete zone objectives, earn achievements, claim collection capes and explore your unlocks through a connected upgrade tree.

The current beta features the Green Zone, including its opening progression, crafting, equipment and repeatable encounters.
