Story:

THE LEGEND OF THE OMNI TREE

The Age of Life

"A long time ago, Gods and Men walked the realm together. This was the Age of the Omni Tree. From its seeds came all mortal beings—man and beast alike. But when a God and a Human fell in love, it set in motion the end of tranquility."

The Fall and the Rot

"Soon, a WAR began. Crawth the 'Broken God'—child of the God Craw and a Human—led an army to commit the unthinkable: the FELLING of the Omni Tree. As the Great Tree died, its remaining unsprouted seeds began to rot. Born of those decaying seeds, the first MONSTERS entered our world."

On Our Own

"Disappointed, the Gods ascended. They sealed the heavens, and in doing so, the realm was divided in two: the Realm of Man and the Celestial Realm above. The age of perpetual light ended; now, night falls. But look at the darkened sky, Travelers… the radiant light shining above is the ever-watching eyes of the Gods. They did not forget or forsake us; they are waiting to see if our wisdom—and our strength—can one day match their own."

The Alchemy Mages & Treadzar

"The abandonment of the Gods was soon the least of our worries. The multitudes of monsters born from the rotted seeds soon plagued all the lands. We, the Eight Alchemy Mages, tried to restore balance. With the ancient knowledge passed down from the Gods, we forged the HEAVY Sword—a blade designed to grow stronger with every monster it slayed. We gave it to Treadzar, the greatest hero of our age. He was to be our savior."

The Rot Sickness

"The sword did its job, but its power proved too much for mortal men. The dark energy warped Treadzar’s mind, turning our champion into the very thing he set out to stop… he became a monster. He continues to lay siege to our land, growing ever stronger as he destroys our kingdoms. He has made Mayhem Mountain his fortress, and from there his dark horde grows."
