What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Apex Path: Bolt is something I’ve been building almost completely on my own for nearly three years.
The story, the characters, and the world I’m trying to create ended up much bigger than what I could fully release in one go, so Early Access felt like the right step. This way, players can jump in early, try things out, and give feedback while the game continues to grow.
It also lets me shape the final version together with the community instead of building it in a bubble.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It’s hard to give an exact date, since I’m developing the game mostly on my own.
My goal is to keep Apex Path: Bolt in Early Access for roughly 1–2 years, depending on how much feedback I receive and whether I’m able to bring in more help as the project grows. I’ll be updating the game regularly and keeping the community informed as development moves forward, with the feedback i will be able to move the project even faster.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I will try to implement a combat system into the game, . I'm also experimenting an assist system within the run. i hope also to add a global leaderboard, and i aim to add more chapters and characters to the game as it progresses, future updates could include a lot of experimentation in general.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build gives you the full opening of the story and a solid chunk of real gameplay.
You can run through the first three chapters, play as a few different runners, and try out all the core systems, parkour, abilities, character selection, and the early version of building up your city. All the main maps for Chapters 1–3 are in, plus extra side content like free-roam areas and some early city upgrades to experiment with.
There is an ending for this slice of the game, but more chapters, more runners, and more polish are coming as development keeps moving forward.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price is not expected to change during Early Access.
i may adjust it upon full release depending on the scope of new content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to involve the community by gathering player feedback throughout Early Access.
Players can share suggestions and report issues through the Steam Discussions page. My Discord server, or my social media.
This feedback will help me balance the game, add improvements, and guide future updates as the project grows.”

About This Game

Apex Path: Bolt is a story-driven, first-person parkour game set in a neon future where speed keeps you alive, loyalty is rare, and every runner has something to hide.

You play as Bolt, a runner who never fit in anywhere and who now tries to build a place for people like him-a city where outcasts and runners actually mean something.

But the power Bolt carries didn't come from a bright moment or a miracle; it came from incarnate, the side of himself he's been trying to bury for years.

Whether you follow Bolt's stable lightning.

or submit to Incarnate's all-devouring anarchy.

Your route carves how you move, fight, and survive on the tracks.

You will be running through strange, shifting worlds that belong to different runners, each with their own history, abilities, and personal paths.

Switch between characters and learn how each one moves and fights as you piece together the truth Bolt has been avoiding his whole life.

Select Your Runner

You are not locked to one hero. Apex Path lets you play as multiple unique runners, each with their own:

Abilities

Build Dream City

You will be starting from nothing.

Build up your hub and city slowly. Achievements and hidden lore so Your status as a runner rises
