Sunsetting Seekers of Skyveil

Seekers,

It is with a heavy heart that we share some difficult news with you today: Seekers of Skyveil will be shutting down on March 31, 2025 and with it, Elodie as a studio will also be closing its doors.

Elodie was founded in 2019 with a central set of tenets - that we design games that are social at the core, provide deep gameplay and replayability, and resonate with a global audience. Our journey started with an ambitious concept and a veteran team dedicated to making that experience reality. We undertook a major pivot almost 21 months ago, which ultimately evolved into the “MOBA meets extraction” experience you see today. Along the way, we became leaner and all the more determined to get to a launched game. There were moments where we almost didn’t make it, but thanks to the support of investors who believed in our vision, we were able to push forward and bring Seekers of Skyveil to life.

We are incredibly proud of what we created. Our goal was always to deliver something unique and worth experiencing. We believe we accomplished that. Despite the passion and long hours we poured into Seekers of Skyveil, we struggled to reach the critical mass of players needed to sustain it long-term. Without the necessary funding to continue development and marketing efforts, we have no choice but to bring this short journey to an end.

To those of you who ran missions to the Corrupted Forest in early Radiant Skies, became an extraction tester in Alpha and Beta, explored Skyveil during Next Fest, or supported us in Early Access - thank you. Your enthusiasm, feedback, and love for Seekers of Skyveil meant everything to us. We built this game for YOU, and we’re grateful you found us, took the time to step into it, and helped us improve it.

This isn’t the outcome we hoped for, but it doesn’t take away from what we were able to accomplish together. Thank you for being a part of our adventure.

Skyveil is unpredictable—every expedition is a gamble. Sneak past rival teams or choose to engage in a direct attack. Battle powerful creatures and adapt to shifting dangers across three distinct maps. With randomized areas, events, and ever-changing threats, no two runs are the same. Extract early and play it safe, or push deeper into the Heart of the Forest for greater rewards at greater risk. The longer you stay, the deadlier it gets.

Every expedition brings you closer to true mastery—but in Skyveil, power is never permanent. Gather rare materials and craft powerful items to venture deeper. Unlock access to higher-tier maps, where only the strongest Seekers survive. The higher you climb and the more power you gain, the deadlier the opposition will become.

Powerful foes and rival teams stand between you and Skyveil’s greatest treasures. Risk everything for power, but remember— the legendary loot you find can be swept away in the chaos of the storm.
