關於此遊戲

This is a narrative horror game in which you take on the role of a night guard in a small medieval town.

At its core, the game explores the experience of being a medieval gatekeeper and immerses you in this mysterious town. Dreadwoods is a gritty place where you’ll confront death, greed, drugs, sex, and cowardice.

A guard has been killed, and there are rumors of a monster in the woods. But you can't help but notice there's more to this story.

Gameplay includes:

  • Managing the gatehouse: Talking with folk, opening the gate, inspecting trading wagons, and maintenance duties.
  • Interacting with townsfolk and balancing decisions.
  • Finding ways to get coin other than your salary to buy better cloth and food. They will increase your stats like Confidence, Charisma, and Stamina, which will affect some of the confrontational conversations.
  • Patrolling around town and scouting from the watchtower. While outside, you'll have to be on high alert and ready to run for a safe spot if you encounter danger.

You will accompany our hero on his journey as strange events unfold and the lines between superstition and reality blur. Seek answers, face fears, and leave your mark on this town.
