Dustless is a side-scrolling action-adventure game set in a wuxia world, featuring a richly layered combat system.

You awaken in a sword tomb with no memory—just a sword in hand—and embark on a thorny path filled with hidden conspiracies and deadly encounters. Along the way, you gradually recover fragments of your lost soul and piece together the truth of your identity.

Unique Hand-Drawn Art Style

The game features a distinctive hand-drawn visual style, crafted in my personal artistic approach and brought to life with high-frame-rate frame-by-frame animation. These meticulously drawn animations lend fluidity and precision to every movement, imbuing the game with a strong sense of vitality and expression.

Intricate Map Design

Explore an intricately interconnected metroidvania-style world, venturing through unique and atmospheric stages such as Snowfall Pond, Moonseer Pavilion, Heaven's Gate, and the Painted Realm. Each area is filled with secrets, new mechanics, and unlockable paths. As players gain new abilities in later stages, they’ll be able to revisit earlier areas to access previously unreachable zones, deepening both exploration and progression.

Satisfying Sword Clashes

Built on the foundation of classic 2D platforming, the game integrates core wuxia combat elements like parrying, counterattacks, and intense sword duels, encouraging players to face enemies head-on. A range of systems—sword techniques, spiritual artifacts, divine senses, and ultimate skills—intertwine to offer players the freedom to chain together moves and master their own combat style. The fast-paced, rhythmic combat deepens immersion and amplifies the thrill of every battle.
