What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“There's lots more content in the works! More enemies are in development! Story script is in development! Indoor levels! Seeking early player feedback on usability, playability, and of course bugs.

We would love to hear feedback & suggestions from people about where we can go from this beginning sketch of a game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The fuller version will have: Additional enemies! Additional story script! Fixed bugs as we discover them! For example, we want to build some indoor levels, and would love to hear from early players how they feel about such additions as we make them.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Please see the description in About This game. The game can be played through to an ending, but there's a lot more content in the works. In particular we would like to build indoor levels, and get feedback & suggestions from the community about how those should be integrated.

(Please be aware that during Early Access the save game system might easily break as we push new versions. Such changes will cause the player's game to start from the beginning rather than their last checkpoint.)”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price might go up a little, to try to recover the basic Steam expenses incurred in publishing.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are always seeking constructive feedback on parts of the game that are annoying or just broken e.g. landscape that is too hard to navigate. As we develop the indoor levels, we definitely want feedback on how we can best refine them for playability. The main place for discussion will be the forums right here on Steam!”

About This Game

A new category of video game: Struggling Simulator! A simple, fun, FPS where you take on waves of evil robots. Try to inch ahead on a landscape populated with mechanized meanies that are out to fry your hide. The only way to get out alive is to keep moving on, dodging and blasting, until you can escape the battlefield. Make careful use of your energy weapons. Be sure to not waste what little health you have. The game design emphasis is on old-school straight-forward brain-dead fun.

  • Multiple weapons and modes with which to fight off the baddies!
  • A fascinating planetoid landscape to struggle across in your battle!
  • More than one variety of eeeevil robots to defeat!
  • Epic explosions to behold!
  • Strange creatures both organic and robotic to meet, greet, and possibly defeat!
  • Pretty good music and sound effects!

"This game is as bad as your mind will allow you to believe." - said somebody, somewhere.

"You're really not going to like it," - said an elevator, once.

"You want to complain? Just look at these shoes, I've only had them three weeks!" - said you-know-who.

"My God! It's full of bugs!" - Dave Bowman.
