"We believe that Early Access is the best way to shape Moongrave through player feedback. The game combines fast-paced tower defense combat with roguelite mechanics; balancing these systems greatly benefits from feedback coming from a wide range of playstyles. We want to build a better game by working directly with the community – adjusting content, refining difficulty, and improving replayability together."

"Our current goal is to leave Early Access during the second half of 2026, but this timeline may evolve depending on the scope of new content and the feedback we receive."

"In the final version, we plan to add new features, levels, enemies, and a broader variety of items. We also intend to integrate quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback. The exact scope may evolve throughout development."

"The current version already offers a wealth of upgrades and varied possibilities to find fun, several challenging arenas filled with enemies and bosses, as well as dozens of skills allowing for diverse builds. "We actively monitor feedback through the Steam forums and Discord. Balance adjustments, feature priorities, and future content will be shaped by this feedback. Between the strategic management of your city, the relentless tower defense around your crystal, and the exploration of a dark world scarred by the Moon’s fall, you must balance immediate survival with long-term vision. Every choice shapes humanity’s future. Will you endure long enough to uncover the secret of the lunar tomb and carve a new destiny for your people?

Deep beneath the Earth, humanity has found refuge. Your underground city, a fragile remnant of a shattered world, must be rebuilt stone by stone if you ever hope to regain your lost strength. For on the surface, nothing is livable anymore: since the Moon’s destruction and its fall in fragments, the land has become a wasteland infested with creatures born of darkness. One colossal shard crashed onto the planet, forming a mysterious tomb where a forgotten force seems to slumber… perhaps the very key to humanity’s fate.

To survive, you must dare return to the surface. A crystal artifact, your only link to the world above, will be both weapon and shield. Deploy it into these hostile lands and defend it at all costs against relentless waves of monsters. Build turrets, unleash devastating spells, and upgrade your crystal during battle to push back the enemy onslaught further and further. Each expedition allows you to gather precious resources to bring back to your hub, rebuilding your underground city and unlocking new upgrades, new weapons, and new strategies.

But the surface offers no respite. Waves grow stronger, enemies more cunning, and each run will test your resolve. In defeat, you learn. In victory, you grow. As in every true roguelite, each attempt strengthens your defenses and opens the path to new possibilities.
