This was originally a small DLC that ballooned into becoming a sort of standalone expansion pack for The Pilgrimage, taking place approximately 20 years after those events. And in doing so, it has become a series of Short Adventures that the player can embark upon with their companions.

It contains more missions and the playable characters from The Pilgrimage campaign [among others]. It also allows Briar to class swap between Mystic and Ranger in addition to the default Guardian class.

The mainland overworld is now opened up for exploration. At least a dozen new quests and many more locations to explore. Armor crafting and much, much more. New companions to recruit.

Eastern Royal Trade post has opened up for travel. Jump through the world gate and explore new places in this ever growing DLC.

In some ways, these games have more in common with games of the 1980s or 1990s than those of the current year.
