"We are a small indie studio with great ambitions and long-term plans. Presence is not just a first-person ghost hunting game. It's a game about investigating and exploring paranormal phenomena, which can be induced not only by some ghostly activities. Your role here is to form a research and occult team that will not only have scientific and technological methods at their disposal but also occult knowledge and their own psychic abilities.



  • Every phenomenon will appear in its own unique way, and you have electronic equipment and your own psychic abilities to discover it and gain knowledge about it.
  • Every case is different and will need a different way to be solved, but first, you have to find this way on your own.
  • Every event will be fully dynamic, generated by AI, and based on many variables, like player behavior, building layout, the nature of the phenomenon, and more.
  • Develop your skills, unlock unique perks, invite your friends, and together use your own playing styles to complement each other.
  • Develop your equipment and your own psychic powers to interact with "the other side."
  • Create your own character and grow your workshop and your vehicle, which will give you new possibilities in the future.
  • Your role in the team will not become useless along with your life loss while hard efforts are made on the hard case.
  • Earn experience on your skills and earn money, with which you will buy or improve your equipment and also buy new clothes for your character.
  • Hire people in your base, such as a mad scientist or a mysterious witch, who can teach you something, let you upgrade your equipment, or expand the store's assortment. But remember to pay them for their work, or else...
  • Watch your mouth. "They" can hear you.
  • Every met animal can be petted.



  • Solve cases in single-player or multiplayer with up to four players.
  • You and your team are going to places where unexplained things happen.
  • Your task is to investigate and know them, and then purge these places using your equipment and your psychic abilities. Will you send it back (but do you know where)? Seal the place (but do you know how)? Or catch it and take it with you (but do you know the risk)? But remember, every method has advantages and disadvantages.
  • Nowhere is safe; if you want to breathe or hide, you have to create such a place yourself. How safe it will be depends on your skills.
  • By reaching the appropriate experience thresholds, you will unlock unique perks in a given skill. Such as longer-lasting batteries in tech skills, increased resistance to possession in psychic skills, or longer astral travels in OBE skills. But you have to choose only a few of the unlocked perks per case.
  • The gameplay takes place in both real and astral places at the same time.
  • As you learn to visit the astral world, you'll see how it is perceived by the spirit or phenomenon you are looking for. You never know what you'll see there, who you'll meet, what you'll learn, or if you can handle it.
  • Watch out not only for your mental health but also for your physical health and your fear. Some entities are just waiting for an opportunity to possess you. No one can predict how much of a threat you'll be to the others then.
  • You will use your abilities and equipment better each time as you gain experience in one of many skills. Your resistance to certain threats will also increase.
  • Your gear isn't indestructible, and neither are most items in the places you go. Some things can be fixed (if you can), but others can't, so be careful with them.
  • Electronic equipment needs power. Make sure you always have enough replacement batteries with you.
  • Some smaller devices can be clipped to your belt. If you pin a device that is turned on, it will still work. If you get used to them, you'll be able to pin more than one over time.
  • Things don't always end when you leave the client's home. Sometimes you will find something interesting that you want to take with you and study at the base.
  • It's inspired by horror movies, occult books, paranormal TV shows, and maybe our own experiences a little?

When you stare into the darkness, the darkness starts to stare at you. The spiritual world is getting closer than ever before, sometimes even intertwining with our reality. But the human mind is not strong enough to handle it and starts to be afraid. They need someone who can help them understand it and restore balance.
