Phrixothrix is an adventure game with point and click elements that emphasizes exploration and puzzle solving. Physically you are trapped in a dimly lit bunker, but by using a machine in the bottom floor you can assume control of an alien worm. Through discovering hidden tunnels, holes, and vents, you will find new places to send the worm and uncover the truth of this strange world.

Beyond the title screen and the options menu, the game has no words or dialogue.

Phrixothrix is an atmospheric adventure game, it is not explicitly horror. You awake in a dark, unfamiliar environment and must use your curiosity as a tool to overcome obstacles.
