Varför Early Access?

“I wanted to get an version out to the players while still in development, this invites players to help with decisions on which features they want implemented first, and to provide feedback on the development. And it will also help with acquiring funds for outsourcing things such as map design, so that a steady flow of content can be enjoyed in between major updates and to grow the team.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Depending on how well the game is received and how large the team will end up. If things go well, up to a year.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The game is very small right now, with a very simplistic gameplay loop. While it is fun as a party game with friends/strangers, I plan on expanding the scope as development continues.

Here are some planned features which are currently in development, but if/when they are finished may vary, this is not a promise of their implementation or their quality:

  • Map States - Getting a Monster who hides the entire game or hunters who instead start building a small fort-knox will probably hold the game hostage, both sides need a stronger push than just bloodlust
  • Weapon Variety - Who doesn't love more weapons?
  • Monster Variety - Who says that The Hunted was the only test subject..
  • Workshop support - Want to make and share your own map? Or maybe you have a weapon a weapon/gadget idea that is simply TOO good to NOT implement.
  • Hunter customization - While they are expected to keep a professional profile, who says they can't add a little character to their outfits. Just don't expect anything silly like floppy bunny ears, right?.
  • Matchmaking - For those who just want to play without having to worry being in a group or becoming a part of a server community.

“Only two maps in the game, and weapon/monster variety is low. While playable, it solely depends on players to host servers/lobbies themselves, with no proper matchmaking implemented. While fun for friend groups, clans, and LAN parties, it may be difficult to find an active server by yourself.”

The Game


Shadow Stalker is an Asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, where one player plays as "The Hunted" and the rest (2-8) play as "The Hunters".

...Over here...

The Hunted is a near-invisible monster, that can only be seen through bright lights or while it is attacking. It is also bigger, faster, stronger than a normal human, and can jump several stories in height.

The Hunted is also well equipped with different nigh-supernatural abilities such as:

  • Wall climbing - climb up, down, and even on the underside of walls.
  • Corpse eating - Eat your prey to recover lost blood.
  • Telekinesis - Throw heavy objects at your enemies.

Hunt or be hunted


Become a Hunter; A well-equipped member of an elite task force.

Play as a team, watch your surroundings, and be tactical in your positions.

Use your weapons and your gadgets to hunt down and kill The Hunted, or become "hunted" yourself.
