Universal Conquest is a Grand-Strategy/4X/RTS hybrid taking place in the far future, long after mankind has spread across the universe, and colonized other galaxies along with other alien races. The Human Imperium has collapsed tens of thousands of years ago, overthrown by the combined effort of the rest of the Milky Way Galaxy. Following a golden age, the survivors spread across the universe, forgetting most of their history, their culture, and their origins.
