Varför Early Access?

“We want to make the best game we can, and even in beta we’ve learnt that working directly with our community is the best way to do that. Early Access is a way for us to receive constant valuable feedback, collaborate with our players on what they want to see, and keep our players in mind at every step of the development cycle.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Space Travellers is a very large and complex game, requiring a lot of work. We plan to run it in stages. We would like to complete the preliminary access in 6-12 months from the launch of the first public beta.”

“We plan to refine all the basic parts of the game. We also plan to add a new character to the team - the colonizer. This character could build a functional colony on virtually any planet.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“At the moment we have the main parts of the mechanics finished. The procedural generation of the universe is complete. We're assembling our home solar system.

The main part of the game
Fleet management, basic trading, stargate travel is complete. We've finished buying and selling ships and their equipment.

Planets
The basic mechanics for the explorer character are done. Landing on a planet, using small ships, gathering resources, crafting, etc... We have done the procedural generation of planets as well as the manual modeling of our solar system.

Interceptor
We have finished the mechanics of fighter control, combat, basic missions.

Soldier
We have finished weapon control, basic physics, movement and combat.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We do not plan to increase the price.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We currently use the Steam forums as our primary way to talk to our community. Players can suggest new features and modifications.”
