Why Early Access?

“Insane Escape is a game that we created with a lot of love and passion, and despite the number of features it contains, we feel that it still isn't showing its full potential. Being a small team of just two people, we've decided to put it in your hands, hoping you'll enjoy it and ask for your help in making it the best version of itself. If you trust us, we promise to do our absolute best to bring this game to the vision we had a few years ago.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We don't know exactly how long this game will be in early access. It will all depend on the feedback we receive from you, the ideas that come to us in the meantime, and how much more we decide to expand this game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Upon exiting Early Access, our plans include making available the playable character of the doctor, other playable characters with different gameplay and objectives. These plans may vary, as well as their exact number, depending on the progress of the game's development. We also aim to redesign the threats present at launch, improve the graphics, improve the map generation and add more items and documents for you to collect. We also plan to add new secondary modes and a hard mode with new endings, some of which will be secret.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the Early Access launch, it will contain the doctor as a playable character. Please refer to the description on the Store page for a complete list of features available at launch.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Upon the full release of the game, the price will increase to reflect the additional content that will have been added in the meantime.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use the Steam Community Page and a dedicated Discord server to collect feedback, opinions, and bug reports. We also aim to provide updates to those who join us in this adventure through social media and the same Discord server mentioned above, in order to keep you informed about the direction the development is taking. Additionally, we will keep you updated via the Steam page through announcements.”
