Miksi Early Access?

Carrionwave is releasing Miuratale in Early Access to gather community feedback and suggestions as we shape the game into its final form. Miuratale is a large undertaking for a small studio, and we want to involve gamers in shaping the first mermaid-themed RPG. From combat to the world and story, we hope that with help from gamers we can create a final product realizes our dream of creating an incredible underwater adventure!

We are hoping to have Miuratale finished before the end of 2025.

Miuratale will evolve as we strive to create the ultimate mermaid RPG experience. We aim to develop a combat system that is both challenging and fun, blending RPG and bullet-hell elements. Players will have full freedom to customize their build and playstyle—whether as a tank who can brute-force through damage or a nimble mage who exploits enemy weaknesses.

Players can also expect their hub zone, the Crystal Palace, to expand with new features and capabilities. Currently, it serves as a crafting area, but we plan to develop it into a full hub where players can take on side quests, explore character stories, enjoy minigames, and engage in other activities.

The world will also expand as we introduce new challenges and activities for players to discover and enjoy, the world map filling out with new levels to explore.

We want Miuratale to work on gamepads and Steamdeck as well, and we hope to get that functionality in before release as well.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Miuratale's Early Access includes over 10 hours of story and gameplay. Players can craft their own armor and accessories to take on multiple bosses and over 30 unique enemies. They can explore dozens of levels across the game's world map, from small caves full of resources to massive, freely explorable zones featuring enemies, resources, bosses, and NPCs. Miuratale offers a combat system that blends RPG mechanics with lite bullet-hell elements. Currently the game supports Keyboard and Mouse.

The Early Access will be half price until the game's full release.

Our small team will be active on social media, such as our Bluesky and Discord, as well as the Steam community page for Miuratale. We will happily accept all feedback, and will work with the community to help create the ideal version of the final game.
