Varför Early Access?

“By entering Early Access, we will be able to better develop our game by providing people a more accessible way to try the game out. Steam is essentially ubiquitous when it comes to PC gaming, so by having the game up on the store in some capacity, people will be more likely to try it out. From there, we can better collect feedback on game balance, story, and bugs.”

“We expect to be in Early Access between 1 and 1.5 years, with a target release range towards the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025.”

“The full version of Eras Rising is planned to feature an “endless mode” that is intended to make up the majority of playtime and keep players coming back once the relatively short main story is completed. The full version is also planned to have completed VFX, SFX, music, animations, etc.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version of Eras Rising will feature a gameplay-complete story campaign, meaning all six planned enemy encounters will be playable. However, there will be unfinished dialogue, VFX, SFX, animations, etc. that will be updated over time. Gameplay balance may also be adjusted over time.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The game will be free during Early Access, and paid once it is fully released. We haven’t settled on a number as of yet, but it should be relatively inexpensive. If someone purchased/downloaded the game during Early Access, they will get access to the fully released version for a discounted cost.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We already have a community Discord server up and running with proper channels and bots set up to collect feedback and bug reports. Our Discord server can be found on our Steam Store page and other social media.”
