“Our goal is to release a game that is funny, silly and makes you want to play just one more run! To reach that goal we think that involving players in an early stage of making the game will be great.”

“We are hoping for a full release sometime in 2025. Initially we were aiming for full release in July 2024, 6 months after EA release, but we needed more time.”

“We hope and plan for the full version of our game to have more of everything, more frogs, more bugs, more upgrades, more environments, more achievements, more tongues, more hats, more friends!
We are planning to add a branching system for choosing upgrades when you level up, power ups, dynamic music and more. We are also working on a new system for map generation.”

“In this version of the game you get to decide what frog to play as, what tongues you have, what upgrades you get and what story to tell. Find your favourite combinations of tongues, items and chapters to eat all the flies! Use your hard earned froins in the shop to become even more powerful.

Development plans

We are working hard on fulfilling our vision for Froguelike, we have a bunch of plans! Here is a, non-exhaustive, list:

  • A branching system for upgrading and evolving items and tongues

  • New map generation system and new environments with new obstacles and some new bugs

  • More items and tongues

  • At least one more playable character along with its own story and unique starting stats

  • More sound effects

  • New chapters and stories

So far during early access we have added a new music track, power-ups, new stories, we have also done balancing and a lot of improvements as well as changes and additions based on ideas and suggestions from players!

Face off against the swarms of bugs invading your pond, and get a good snack out of it!

You choose how the story of your adventure goes, decide what happens next when you pick the next chapter and carry out your strategy to get as many flies in your belly as possible.

Inbetween runs you can use your hard earned froins in the shop to start your next run being even stronger!

Throughout the many stories you will tell you will discover new tongues, uncover new useful items, find new frogs to play as and unlock new chapters to take your next story in new, unexpected, directions.
