Wozu Early Access?

„During Next Fest, we identified multiple gameplay and and accessibility features that we need to improve. We've tried very hard to improve the game over the last few months since our playback sessions at PAX, but due to work-life balance and other circumstances, and even after pushing our original release date of Feb 19th to Mar. 11th, and do not want to delay again, so we chose to release in EA. We know we still have some issues that we want to improve on, and we want to keep improving on the feedback we've received from playtesters and community.“

„Currently the game is completely playable on Windows and Mac from beginning to end (all 5 chapters), but does not include all extra gameplay features that we want to add such as new mini-games.
The Linux and Steam OS/Steam Deck version also only includes the first 3 chapters.

„We have already begun to take steps toward community involvement- asking people in Discord, Twitch, and other social media sites to play the game and give us their honest feedback. We want to continue involving the community, both content creators and friends and family who have offered to help us focus test. We will also be sending out multiple updates in the next few weeks to keep the community appraised of our current release status and exact improvements made. Thank you!“

About Early Access

Since we are in Early Access, we will be updating the game regularly, and improving it as we go. All changes should be very minor once Early Access is over. The game is basically 99% complete right now in its current state! Currently, all 5 chapters are playable, but we are porting the game to a new engine, so the UI/UX will change, along with some minor things like character and background animations. The Linux version is also currently limited to the first 3 chapters. We hope to leave Early Access as soon as possible (1-3 months).
