Why Early Access?

“Early access will grant this small development studio an incredible opportunity to release our game earlier and gain valuable feedback and support from our customers while improving the player experience in a positive and meaningful way prior to the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The goal is to have a 1.0 release in approximately 6 months from early access release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release version of the game should maintain most if not all of the current features with all of the current systems stable and functioning without issues. The goal is to add additional functionality and build off of the current systems in place and offer more intricate functionality and variety to what I plan to be available during early access.

A larger portion of the changes players should expect to see are improvements to artwork, game mechanics, more map variety and quality. With the help of player feedback our customers may also expect to see changes in game modes and or varieties. They can also expect improvements on attention to detail on smaller things that may not have been a priority leading up to early access.

Some community members have expressed interest in having some rotating game modes at specific intervals during some point in the future which may be another feature players can expect on or after the full release.

I intend for the game to have a robust voice and community management system in place to combat online toxicity, cheating and generally providing an overall more pleasant player experience before offering the full release.

The full release version is planned to have full support, upgrades, interchangeable and or rotating features to enhance the game's life cycle with updates occurring at regular intervals and when neccessary.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of our early access title will feature top-down customizable cosmetic character gear options suitable for a number of different environments and player preferences.

It will also feature over a dozen different weapon variations with multiple attachments and optics to match your playstyle. Each weapon and selected muzzle attachment have their own unique acoustic sound profile and attenuation from various distances.

The game currently features Domination, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Elimination and our flagship game mode "Phase Line" across 7 different maps. It features a 1,400 square mile sandbox map, 18 drivable vehicles, aircraft, tanks and boats with varying levels of armaments and equipment.

Additionally, there are a number of statistic metrics featured in the player's career section inside the game that tracks and saves a number of different statistics during gameplay. The statistic metrics are a work in progress and are not currently tied to or supported by Steam Statistics and exist only inside the game client.

All of the features in the current state of the early access are a work in progress and we expect to continue to build and develop upon them in future updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“To maintain our game's integrity and performance, it is our intention to increase the price at final launch out of early access. Future iterations of the game may or may not include a slight price increase to reflect the growing amount of content.

With that being said, we are exploring options to maintain the network infrastructure and continue updates while maintaining reasonable price levels to facilitate the game's longevity, improvement and performance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are passionate about game development and are aware that games without communities supporting them are not going to get far. We intend to listen to the community and develop Phase Line: Raider Assault in a way that maximizes the player experience to the supporting community with the resources we have available to us.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your patience and understanding during the initial delay of my game’s launch. As a solo developer, I faced many unique challenges, including limited resources and time constraints. However, I firmly believe that quality should never be compromised, and I dedicated every available moment to enhancing the game.

The Good News: Dramatic Improvements!

I’m thrilled to announce that the past several months has been very transformative. The game now boasts significant enhancements across various aspects, including gameplay mechanics, modes, graphics, and overall performance. Your feedback has been invaluable, and I’ve taken it to heart to take extra time to improve the gameplay and work towards a successful launch. True Third-Person Perspective:

Dedicated Servers:
Seamless Multiplayer: Our game runs on robust dedicated servers, ensuring smooth gameplay, minimal lag and large player counts all across the globe.

-A MASSIVE 1,400 square mile sand box with nearly two dozen conquerable islands that is slated to support up to 200 concurrent players in single server. This sandbox mode features a dynamic day/night cycle and will act as a free-roam objective-based domination game mode with the full feature set of various aircraft, vehicles, boats and equipment to traverse the vast area.

-18 different drivable aircraft, tanks, vehicles and boats await your specific gameplay preferences. All with various different weapons and damage profiles, featuring munitions crate loading and unloading, aircraft refueling, ammunition reloading, passenger support, fast roping, sky diving, explosive projectiles, missiles, rockets, miniguns, machine guns, cannons and more.

-Over a dozen different player weapons with various different optics and suppressor options with individual damage and ballistic profiles. Anti-tank projectiles, fragmentation grenades, claymores, smoke grenades, Mk-19 automatic grenade launchers with many more weapons planned to be added in future updates.

-The game modes will include Domination, Team deathmatch, Deathmatch, Elimination as well as our newest flagship mode: Phase Line— with epic battles that should support up to 100 v 100. Team Deathmatch and Elimination support 12 v 12 with Deathmatch supporting up to 24 individual players.

Many of us are familiar with some of the traditional game modes available in Phase Line: Raider Assault, but I want to take a moment to emphasize the newest signature game mode Phase Line.

**Phase Line Mode**

Here's how it works:

-Teams vie for control of a mobile flag that shifts the front line. The flag bearer becomes the moving front line. The teams support the flag bearer in an effort to move the front line to the enemy phase line.

-Once the flag reaches the enemy’s phase line, a capture objective appears. Your team must capture it to secure victory.

-Dropping the flag halts objective progress. To continue, the flag must be picked up and moved past the enemy phase line to continue to capture the enemy objective.

-Players dynamically respawn behind the moving frontline on their respective team's side ensuring the battle continues to rage on and opposition is always nearby.

-Each team receives two highly important command trucks. These mobile bases spawn vehicles and outposts with munitions caches and Mk-19 automatic grenade launchers. These are critical for defense, offense and your team's overall success. Protect them.

-Finite Resources: Choose wisely—there’s a limit to the vehicles you can deploy.

-Frontline Tactics: Command trucks are lifelines. Use them strategically to move troops back to the battle, provide essential equipment and keep your team in play.

-Team effort and strategy are paramount to the success of your team's victory. This mode is designed to be played as a 360-degree security head-on-a-swivel strategy. Teams must play defense and offense in tandem to secure victory. Slip up and the enemy will run through your team and capture your objective.

-Feel your contribution to the collective effort: An individual player can have a dramatic effect on the battlefield. By eliminating enemy offense, capturing the objective or being responsible for moving the frontline for the entire team, your role will be vital and seen in the overall mission.

Phase Line: Raider Assault isn’t just a singular game; it’s vastly encompassing online multiplayer battle experience from the individual all the way up to the team effort. A multitude of mechanics, aircraft, vehicles and strategies exist to create a winning formula. Alliances are forged, strategies are tested, and legends are born.
