Miksi Early Access?

Thermal Expansion Games is a one man team. Wildwood has been my baby for a while now and I want to make sure it is as good as it can be. As such I want to involve the community. Player feedback has been the cornerstone of some of the best games that have been released in recent years and I want to leverage that power. I want to hear your thoughts, get your feedback, and involve the community to make Wildwood the best game possible

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

3-12 months. The goal is not to spend forever in Early Access, but to get feedback, add content and make Wildwood as good as it can be.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

This depends on you! Your feedback is important to me and I want to make sure that I involve the community and make the changes needed to make Wildwood great. Throughout Early Access you can expect to see regular content additions including new Buildings, Items, and Crops. You can also expect to see changes made to existing items based on your feedback.

Wildwood is a city building strategy game that is all about expansion. Start from nothing. As you gather resources and progress through the Tech Tree you will unlock new technologies that will help you survive. To reach more valuable resources you will need to expand. Deploy a logistics network of Trains and Wagons to connect your settlement together. As you continue to gather, build, expand, and connect you will be able to turn your surviving settlement into a thriving town.


Help your citizens thrive by building homes and workplaces for them. As you progress through the tech tree you will unlock new items and buildings that will help you in your quest to expand your settlement


The procedurally generated world of Wildwood is infinite. Explore new areas and take advantage of the resources available there. Expand your settlement as far as your heart desires and discover the endless possibilities of Wildwood.


Connect your settlement with a logistics network of trains and wagons. Move resources to where they are needed to ensure the survival of your settlement and to keep your citizens well provided for
