Tale of REN is a Visual Novel that immerses players in the journey of Mizu Ren Nanami,

a character sent to a distant world to gather the

"Heart Essence Droplets"—a vital key to saving the world of Ren, which is on the brink of collapse.

Players will experience a complex and multi-layered story where choices impact the storyline,

leading to various endings that can be selected as desired.

In the land of Ren, every youth who reaches the age of 16 and passes a critical test must embark on a journey to fulfill a noble mission—to seek the elusive Heart Essence Droplets.

I am Mizu Ren Nanami... As a native of Ren, my time has come to set forth on a journey to win the hearts of people in distant lands. My destination is the city of Rosetania, and the young souls at the academy here are the ones with whom I must forge bonds to obtain the Spirit Dew.

Yet, as I undertake this mission, shadows of secrets from the past emerge, revealing truths I had never known...

Name - Surname: Mizu (Ren) Nanami

Status: Temporary Exchange Student (Regular Class)

Personality: Nanami is optimistic, with a unique perspective shaped by her experiences as an outsider. She is highly independent, self-confident, and steadfast in her beliefs and core values. Observant, curious, calm, and patient, she rarely gets angry even when treated unfairly, and her sensitivity to her surroundings allows her to adapt well. While she may feel anxious in unfamiliar situations, she remains fiercely protective of those she cares about. Nanami is creative in solving problems, though she sometimes hesitates when making important decisions, reflecting her journey of learning to rely more on herself.

Name - Surname: Amory Vivian

Status: Grade 10 high school student (regular class) classmate and roommate with Nanami Personality: With a calm face and sharp, intense eyes, she is often misunderstood as being serious, making those around her reluctant to approach. However, in truth, she doesn't carry anything heavy on her mind. She's naturally quiet, but if it's a topic of interest like sweets, she can talk endlessly.

Although she loves sweets, she keeps this passion to herself, fearing it might not align with her cool image. Despite her love for making desserts, her skills are lacking, and she was teased about it as a child. These experiences have made her sensitive to being mocked about her appearance or image.

Deep down, she longs for acceptance from those around her and shows her warm side through subtle efforts to build friendships, even if she doesn't openly express it.

Status: Grade 11 high school student (gifted class, specialized and top of the class.

Personality: Gentle, kind, and strict about rules due to family upbringing. Skilled at adapting to people or social situations from being trained since childhood. Quick-witted, insightful, and perceptive about people. Skilled in planning and managing people or projects. Ava doesn't like people referring to her by her surname because she feels it takes away her identity, making her feel like just a family representative rather than her own person.

Status: Grade 10 high school student (regular class), classmate of Nanami.

Personality: Appears indifferent and lethargic, but in reality possesses excellent calculation and analytical skills. Dislikes chaos or being the center of attention. Values reason and duty over emotional decision-making. Even though he seems uninterested in his surroundings, he always chooses what offers the greatest benefit in any given situation.

Personality: Owner of the “Sweet Memories” confectionery shop in the town of Rosetania and has intriguing relationships.

Status: Principal of Rosetania School

Personality: A kind uncle who is beloved by children with his warm smile and polite demeanor. He often spends time in his office or private garden to immerse himself in tranquility. He loves peace and quiet but is decisive in handling problems. Despite his kindness, he harbors mystery that makes people curious about his past.

Status: Newly appointed teacher and former intern teacher at Hana's old school during her junior high years, which made her acquainted with Hana beforehand.
