“흔히들 엘더스크롤 시리즈가 자유도 높은 정통 RPG라고 생각하는데 사실 진짜 정통 RPG는 여기 발더스 게이트가 진퉁이다. 동료와 함께 자유로운 여행, 합심해서 다굴치는 전투, 물건 훔치기 npc 죽이기 같은걸 무려 40년 전부터 시도한 전설적인 작품. 발매당시엔 물량이 없어서 못할정도로 흥행에 성공했으며 아직까지 이런 리메이크 작품이 나올정도면 말 다했지”
