«I'm dedicated to developing this application to a 1.0 version and beyond, but can at this moment only do so part-time. I have a plan to transition over to full-time and early access may speed up that process.

Another reason to go early access is to get a broader feedback loop. There are hundreds of edge cases regarding computer hardware, monitors, software and languages. The more feedback I can get, the faster I can provide the best possible version for all of you.»

Про цю програму

Are you tired of not understanding conversations in your favourite games because of language barriers?

Maybe you're an avid online player just trying to communicate with your teammates, but you're sick of having to constantly copy-paste to a translator or at best guess what they're saying.

Or.. perhaps all you want to do is enjoy your time & learn a language as you game on into the night.

I created this app because I love learning new languages and because games are the reason I can communicate fluently in English today.

I also believe the gaming community lacks the tools to communicate efficiently when there are language barriers online. Which, let's be honest, happens quite often. I hope GameTranslate can relieve some of that pain for us all.

Currently, all locales are generated by an LLM. However, I am making significant efforts to ensure that all supported UI languages 100% human-made for the future.

If the user chooses to, there are alternative translation models to download & use through the community repository. These are all text generative AI.
