About This Game

Intervallic is a rhythm game where you use a MIDI instrument or computer keyboard to control a flying space cat around the planet of Audius! Intervallic helps you learn to play music and works to make practicing your instrument more fun and engaging!

In this 2D side scroller, each note that you play moves the cat up and down on the screen based on the musical intervals that you play (Intervallic!). Objects are arranged so that by the end of each level as you collect notes and dodge obstacles you have played a full song. Collect notes in each phrase to unlock each sample and collect all of the samples to beat the level.

In the future we plan to add more levels and story as well as incorporate a level generator that allows users to upload their own music!

Technical details:
This game is built and tested on Windows. We currently support standard computer keyboard input and MIDI input -- for MIDI, a keyboard is recommended.
