Why Early Access?

“ANIWARS is made by a small team of 3 people. Our goal is to make a kickass unique strategy roguelike, and we want to actively include our community in the development process!

We've always listened to player feedback/suggestions and constantly make adjustments and fixes to gameplay when needed. Just ask our playtesters on Discord.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“At least a year depending on how time consuming it is to create new content. Basically all of ANIWARS mechanics and systems are already finished so the game has a strong foundation.

The biggest concern right now is to add more new content, polish and QoL. We'll regularly update the Early Access over time until the game is finished.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of ANIWARS will include an additional faction, more items, consumables, events, commander stories, more unlockable characters and items, more units as well as achievements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There are currently 3 factions, 3 playable Commanders and boss scenarios, 13 units with unique abilities and passives, 56 items and 13 buildings.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we're planning on raising the price when 1.0 is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“It is always fun to talk with and get feedback from players! We believe that player feedback is crucial for a game's success and it really is an honour to actively engage with our players and fans. We're very active in our Discord Community channel and constantly gather feedback, ideas and answer questions. We're also active on our Steam Community page and X.”
